Pakistan "Yes Programme"

The Youth Exchange and Study (YES) Program provides scholarships to Pakistani high school students for one academic session in United States. YES program scholarships, funded by the US Department of State-Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, give secondary school students in many countries a new opportunity to study at American high schools and live with American host families for one academic year. The YES scholarship program is implemented by a consortium of organizations lead by American Councils. Since 2003, the Youth Exchange and Study (YES) Program has provided scholarships to more than 1000 Pakistani high school students. One of our Cambridge students Ms. Shanza Sarfraz won the “Yes Programme” scholarship for the year 2015 – 2016 and successfully completed her academic session in United States and is back, on June 7th 2016. There she studied at a high school called Oshkosh West High School and received an honorary diploma with full credits in a college course and an English Honors syllabus. She participated in a competitive volunteer internship at the Mercy Medical Center, a local reputed hospital as one of the youngest students there, with most other people already enrolled in university. For her outstanding hours at the hospital she was granted a recommendation letter by the head of the department. This year Again two students have been selected. Aiza Juniad of Class 10 and Hamna Naeem of class 9 will be enrolling for the Yes Program in the United States
